Typical Inferior wall MI
먼저 심장의 inferior wall의 해부학적 구조에 대해서 말씀드리면, inferior wall은 그림에서와 같이 심장의 가장 밑 바닥인데, diaphragm이 있어 posterior 쪽으로 향해 있습니다. 그래서 혈관들 중 posterior descending artery가 inferior wall blood supply에 주요한 역할을 합니다.
이 posterior descending artery는 coronary artery dominance에 따라서 Right Coronary Artery에서 나올 수도 있고 Left circumflex artery에서 나올 수도 있습니다. 그런데 right dominant circulation이 약 85%로 left dominant 보다 훨씬 많은 비율을 차지하고, 따라서 posterior descending artery가 막혀서 생기는 inferior wall MI에서는 RCA occlusion이 LCx 보다 흔하게 나타납니다.
