The number of Korean men wearing make-up is increasing rapidly. According to the English market research center Euromonitor, the sale of basic cosmetics including toner, lotion and essence had been sold in the amount of 490 million dollars in Korea. Korea is one of the most biggest cosmetic market that takes one fifth of the total sales around the world. Average number of cosmetic products that one Korean man possesses are 2.3. Euromonitor commented that Korea is an odd country since the number of adult male is only 19 million while the cosmetic market for male is the biggest in the world. There are number of men that use not only basic cosmetics but also color cosmetics that change the complexion.
According to the recent research issued by Korea Food & Drug Administration, one out of ten adult male are using color cosmetics such as BB cream. ㅍ
