1. Shallow Water
1) How I did
(1) Deciding values of d and L
For shallow water we have to make values of d and L meet the condition (d/L < 1/25), so I decided the values of d and L as d=10 meters, L=260 meters. So the value of d/L equals 0.038462 which meets the condition.

2) Drawn Trajectories(d=10m, L=260m)
Fig 2 shows particle trajectories of shallow water. Elliptical shaped trajectories are significantly shown. Width of vertical displacements gets smaller as the particle goes deeper and get to a straight line as it gets the bottom of the sea (depth = 10 meters).
2. Deep Water

(1) Deciding values of d and L
For deep water, we have to make values of d and L meet the condition (d/L > 1/2), so I decided the values of d and L as d=500 meters, L=700 meters. So the value of d/L equals 0.714286 which meets the condition.
