1. Korea-Japan history of Trade
For over 15 centuries, the relationship between Japan and Korea was characterized by cultural exchanges, economic trade, political contact and military confrontations, all of which are continued on their relations even today. Two countries geographically are located close. Therefore, historically, they have been major trade partners since ancient era.
The two countries established diplomatic relations in December 1965, following the signing of the normalization treaty. As the relations continues to developed, both countries are close neighbors.
