Definition of Globalization
Globalization can be described as an on-going process by which the people of the world are unified into a single society and functioning together (Sturgeon 2000)

Globalization is an process by which regional economies, societies, and cultures have become integrated through a globe-spanning network of communication and exchange. (Wikipedia)

Globalization is extending to extend market toward outside of country for getting more profits profits (Scholte, 2002)

Effect of Globalization on Hotel
Advent of new marketing strategy
e-sales, e-marketing, e-commerce

Internet marketing and sales are the majority integral factors driving globalization in the hospitality industry (Karanasios & Burgess, 2008).

The increasing use of the Internet for destination marketing, direct sales and bookings has given rise to electronic hospitality markets (Geneva 2001).
