* What is the sensor?
1. The word "sensor" was used for the first time in 1967.
2. The word "sensor" indicates some devices which transform some physical, chemical, biological properties into signals, mainly electrical signal.
3. It is originated from Latin language "sens(-us)" whose meaning is function and state of the five senses of man.
4. Mankind has used the sensors before there was no word which means "sensor". These are compass and thermometer. Nowaday sensors are used in most of the electronic devices and machines. For example, there are about 60 ~ 80 sensors in an automobile
