The author when writing a novel, the setting has the special intention. It will be able to guess a work contents in advance. The setting of the work is an intimation at head of works generality. But setting does to emphasize special way in places. Rightly it is the symbol. The author give a hint from background set a subject. Another use setting to create meaning, just as painters include backgrounds and objects to render ideas. All literature the attitude is the affirmative thing with the fact that it forms one whole. But Matured reading is necessary. Because of the symbol inside novel, we must concentrate from first until end. 'Three strangers' of the Hardy and Young Goodman compare the setting is hinted in background the thought of the author who examine the function of setting from the works.
