Despite the negative response of his wife, he finally accepted it and now, he is trying to make a decision, which is about returning home or finishing the assignment in Tokyo. What is the problem?
Filling foreign managerial positions is typically difficult. There are a lot of reasons why it is, but the most important reason is "Cultural difference". In order to compensate for the uneasiness arisen from the cultural difference, the Kline & Associates provided him with the tripled salary, education expenses for the children, a cost of living and so forth, but those were not enough to cover the cultural difference.
