SUMMARY

Fur coats seem to be very familiar with people in Saskatoon, because of very cold and long winter. In my report, I’m going to talk about behind story of fur coats which are considered as a familiar thing with us. We always see fur coat’s brilliance and gorgeousness when we wear fur coats. However if you see the behind story of fur coats, you feel sorry and pitiful for animals who are killed for fur coats. Before gorgeous fur coats are made, animals are skinned alive, and their basic rights are also ignored violently. That’s the result of the preference of fur coats. Some people don’t know the fact that there are lots of better warm coats such as the coats made of cotton than fur coats in the world. If people don’t throw away the preference of wearing fur coats made of animal skinned alive, every year over 40 million animals would be killed in the fur trade. I hope that people see and realize the side people don’t yet know about regarding of fur coats such as the cruel making process, animal rights ignored and other warmer coats.
