Everyone commit a crime during one’s lifetime. The kinds of crimes are various. And they both are crimes in moral limits and are felonies that happen against a law. Also there is punishment for a crime that we have to tell. A punishment occurred on a social common notion that person who damage to others has to same penalty. By the way, arguments about this punishment are continuing in our society today. They mean doubt of punishment’s necessary and boundary.
The retributivists assert punishment is necessary surely. They think punishment lowers possibility of crime’s appearance and realizes justice. Besides, they tell criminals reflect on their conduct owing to receive punishment and don’t commit a crime again.
On the other hand, the utilitarian point out punishment is not necessary certainly. They believe misjudgment’s possibilities generate because punishment is decided by absolute being. And they think economical efficiencies drop by being spend cost when we punish all criminals. They claim punishment is necessary when crime have a bad effect to society.
