Introduction
ECM of the central nervous system is responsible for regulatory function
Signals : Cell growth
Differentiation
Migration
Development of CNS organization
There is little information as to the ECM regulation of neural stem cell population
This study examined the behavior cerebellar-derived neurospheres on the matrix component laminin, fibronectin, chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan(CSPG)

Neurosphere cell
Neural stem cells can be grown in vitro, as either monolayer cultures on an adhesive substrate or as free floating spherical aggregates termed Neurospheres
These in vitro propagated NSCs can proliferate in culture while retaining the potency to differentiate into neurons, oligodendrocytes and glia.

Cell Culture
Matrices Test
Cell were isolated from postnatal day 3 to 5 C57BL/6 mice pups. Tissue was trysininzed and titurated into a single-cell suspension. The cell were plated overnight in tissue culture flask in N2 media with 5%FBS. Nonadherent cell were aspirated, centrifuged, and replated on an antiadhesive coated flask with N2, 5%FBS, and 10g/ml FGF-2 and EGF to generate in vitro neurosphere.
